Does anyone know the company that makes Mohawk Rotary Cutters? I'm trying to research the brand and can't find much on google. Is this brand still manufactured? Does the company have a website? There's just not much information that I can find on the Internet.

Thanks.

Thanks for the information.

I called Washington County Tractor and they told me that Ag-Meier in Belton Texas makes the mower now. The gentlemen I spoke with didn't know if they had a website.

From what I can find, there is no website which makes me somewhat leary. I would think a reputable manufacturer in this day and age would have a web presence.

If anyone knows differently, let me know.

Are they good mowers? How come they are so much cheaper than bush hogs, aside from color and name? The specs are are nearly identical, and in some case, the mohawks looks better built.

Tommy,

How much does the heavy duty 6ft Chief cost? I'm in the market for a heavy 6 ft cutter. The specs on the website look pretty good to me.

Thanks.

Ag-Meier (the former long-time Continental Belton) has been around a long time and made some very good products.

They are very good with spraying equipment/pumps and we use several of their rigs. They also made some good PHDs and we have one as well. Always easy to deal with.

I've never used any of their shredder line, but, if their other products are any indicator then you should be pleased with it and have a pretty easy time dealing with the company for parts, etc.
