Been looking for awhile for a spray boom to attach to my tank spot sprayer, and ran across these, seem pretty nice for the price. I ordered the smaller one, will post some pics once I get it fabed up.

I just bought the fittings and spray nozzles I need to build my own boom at Tractor supply for $15 and change. I'll need to add some hose and a valve (from my junk box) a couple of brackets and some 3/4 pvc for the boom. Looking at a couple hours work (fun) and 20 bucks tops.

If you already have the tank sprayer with a pump capable of handling a boom, the boom can be cobbled together for way less than what they are asking at Cabellas. You can go to the Fimco website and download their online manuals that have the part numbers for the nozzel assemblies used on the booms. You can also order "T" and elbow hose barb nozzel fittings and clamps from Agri-Supply.com for very little money. Just add some 1" diameter pipe for the frame and 1/2" hose and a fitting to adapt to the sprayer and you are in business. You can also buy a very similar small Fimco boom(80" coverage) there for around $48.

We used an old piece of steel fence that was given to us to make the boom on our sprayer. It was pretty easy to do and the price was right. Then we mounted TeeJet nozzles purchased from TSC to complete the assembly.

Here's some pictures of the boom going together sprayer boom

The Fimco boom seems to be only the arm and nozzles. The boom I got from Cabella's included everything to connect to my exiting tank:
-boom, nozzles, hoses, nozzle filters, etc
-arms to bolt bolt to bottom of tank
-all bolts, nuts, washers, etc
-all hoses, clamps, etc
-pressure guage
-"Y" connector, to connect existing spray wand
-connector to tank for pressure adjustment/relief
-connection adapters for hoses to fittings

All in all, it is a very complete package. I had it installed and spraying within an hour. I looked at trying to get all the parts and pieces from TSC, but didnt seem like the price of everything was ecomonical (including the metal for the boom). For what I got, I think the price is right. :D

Oh, with what you listed, that is not too bad a deal then. Sounds like it is for a tank that is not "boom ready".

The Agri-supply boom(Fimco) has all but the last 4 items you mentioned(all the mounting structure and hardware, hoses, nozzels, screens and fittings). It was designed to go with their 25 gallon spray tank that already has the gauge, "Y" gate valve and return line to tank for pressure regulation.
