    Default Bagger Install

I got the bagger attachment for my BX2200 w/60in. deck and since I have the Pats easy change on the lift arms, I found that I cannot attach the bagger unless I remove the PEC or make some changes. I will show the install process w/o the PEC and then attempt to show the same thing after the changes that I made so I can use the bagger w/the PEC. Hope I can stay logged on long enough to finish.
The pickup chute is really simple to install, fold the deflector all the way back and slip the forks over the back edge of the chute, then the thumb screw goes in from the top and holds the thing together.

Normally when mowing, the lift links are disconnected from the rockshaft arms and pinned to the brackets on the frame so they don't lower when the deck is lowered. To hook to the bagger, the instructions say to remove these links from the lower lift arms also and there are brackets on the bagger frame to store these links while the bagger is in use, I left these attached to the lower arms and held them back with a stretch cord.

The lower lift arms have to be held up as you move the bagger close to connect the top link bracket, you can just tilt the bagger forward after it is close and insert the top link pin.

I had to pick up on the side of the bagger to get the lift arm to slide on the pin.

The right side with the blower is a little heavier, but it wasn't hard to pick it up about and inch to get the lift arm to slide on the pin. I know some have used a piece of board under the stand on each side and that will probably eliminate picking up each side to get the arms on the pins.
All that is left is connect the PTO and the hose. I had the PTO cover off the tractor to get a better picture, don't try this at home.

With these brackets I made, I can leave the PEC on and leave the lift links attached to lift arms and leave them attached to the brackets on the frame of the tractor, the same way it is if I'm mowing any other time without the bagger, just back up to the bagger and hook it up. Here are the brackets that go on without altering anything at all on the bagger, and the way the three point looks when I normally mow.

With the PEC, there's a hook, and just lift the right side and drop the bar in the hook.

Around to the left side and lift it up and drop it in the hook.
