WC-6 Chipper Same As JM-6 Chipper? Are both these chippers Jinma's or are they different? The spec look about the same. I am sure neither one is the drum chipper shredder, I want the disk chipper.

Do you have a pic of the WC-6 ? , I have not seen one .The Jinmas have a belt driven feed roller and a 175 lb flywheel. We keep the JM-6 woodchippers in stock and all the replacment parts for it.

Here are some photos from the Internet. Looks like a Jinma to me. Do a google for WC-6 Chipper and several will come up. They also have a WC-8.

That is not a Jinma,it looks like one but made at a different factory.I think it has a cable foot feed release.

Thanks Tommy, I appreciate the answers. I have checked out your web site at Affordable several times.

Probably the parts for the WC-6 may not be as easily found as the Jinma would be my guess. I have found lots of Jinma's on the Internet and I know there is many dealers like yourself that stock parts.

Well I may wait for awhile yet, I am behind on lots of projects and won't have time to chip until winter or maybe spring.

I dunno - it may not be a Jinma, but I'd bet that by and large it's close enough that most of the parts would interchange.

I bought a chipper from Homier - it's their own brand - FarmPro - but like the chipper you pictured I'd bet that it's close enough to a Jinma that most, if not all, parts would interchange.

My guess is that the same factory makes chippers for more than one importer/exporter, distributor, reseller, etc. They probably offer a basic design, with the purchaser able to spec some things, which may be options (cable foot feed release) or just upgraded/better quality components. Go shopping for a 4 x 6 metal bandsaw - there are number of different brands - Harbor Freight, Jet, Grizzly, etc. - all the same basic design but with minor differences in their features.

Comoditization of products at it's best.
