Does anyone know if someone makes a bolt on grapple kit for a kubota l2800?

There are several "universal" add on grapple kits. ATI makes a nice one. Add-A-Grapple is another excellent and economical choice. There are also several sellers on ebay that sell grapple bucket attachments. Search on grapple and bucket on TBN and you should find quite a number of discussions and ideas.

Thanks, i found a few grapples but how do you operate the hydraulics on the grapple. Does it hook into the tractors hydraulics or does it use a seperate system? I have done a few searches but still looking for more more answers thanks again.

There are a number of ways to hook up hydraulics for a grapple. If you search TBN for diverter valve or solonoid switch you can see what is possible using an add on valve for your FEL controller. The other option, if you have at least one set of rear remotes is to use that to control the grapple. There are a couple of recent threads (last week) on these topics that you should be able to find pretty easily in the attachments section of TBN.

I use the rear remote control which is the cheapest and easiest way to set up to control a grapple. Using the diverter valve or electric solonoid has the advantage that the control is on the FEL joystick instead of the fender but those systems will cost you about $500 for parts and you'll have to install them yourself or pay more to a dealer for installation. If you have a rear remote it is the easiest way to get started as you just need appropriate length of hydraulic hose and fittings. You would just run the hydraulic lines from your rear remote connections under the tractor (in a protected area) then up the FEL post, down the FEL arms to the grapple. You control the opening and closing with the rear remote selector lever (open...neutral...closed). With the diverter valve or solonoid you would add an extra valve into the FEL circuit and then operate the grapple by using the curl/dump motion with the joystick while engaging the solonoid or extra valve. It is a bit confusing to write about but all of these methods are pretty straight forward once you get them installed. Rear remotes (if you have them already) is clearly the cheapest route and is probably cheapest even if you need to install a set. Diverter valve is next and the electric solonoid solution the most expensive.
