Theres a white nylon part which attaches the tube to the cuff. Is that missing and are the holes in the tube (where the white nylon piece fits) broken out? The white nylon piece is a $2 I think. In any event it allows the shield to remain stationary while the shaft turns in the cuff. If you can put it back to the original spec that would be best.
