Kubota M7040 cab/hyd shuttle - current, Kubota L3400 - traded
Can't understand why I waited this long to get it.

I tried a land pride Quick Hitch and found that it did not fit my ballast box and the top frame obscured my view of the bottom hooks (I'm only 5'6").

Finally bit the bullet this week and ordered a Pat's and I am overjoyed with it on my Kubota L3400. It is really really well made. Instructions were great and I got my bush hog hooked up in no time with it on.

Did not need a longer top link either.

Thanks to anyone who recommended it.

That is going to be my next thing I get for my tractor. My ballast is a drum so that is what I have to get. I have coins I just have to do it LOL

Congrats!

I have had mine for a couple of months now and can't imagine life without it. The JD dealer had my tractor in for service and I showed it to the salesman. They next time I was in they had 2 in stock. Says alot about the product I think considering they do not stock the i-match!!

Enjoy!!!!!!!!

Where abouts are you located in Ontario?

Noticed you had a 6' Walco RB in you. I get pretty good prices on Walco stuff and was thinking of adding the RB to my arsenal at somepoint.

Are you happy with it?

Just east of Toronto. U?

Rb gets a lot of use from maintaining the 600' of driveway to snow removal in the winter. For the money it is a great investment. Walco makes a good product. There are some heavier units out there but I imagine a heavier price tag. If I did it again I would go with a 5' rb.Got the 6' because thats all they had in stock at the time. 2520 handels it nice though. I haven't tried it out with the loaded tires yet, that will be intresting to see if the extra weight helps move more stuff. I think I paid around 400 for it??

good luck!

I'm in Queensville - north and east of Toronto. Good to see other folks from this area on the forum.

Thanks for the info on the Walco. Believe I was quoted a bit higher (about $500) but it might be a heavier model - not sure.

I've been toying with the idea of loading my tires - wish I had the dealer do it initially. Will probably get it done in the spring. I was hoping to find someone around who used RimGuard but everyone here seems to use Calcium with tubes.

Ditto!

The Walco rb I have is, I would say, light to medium duty. I have seen a lot beefer blades thats for sure. For home use it is just fine though. The heavier the better traction you will get. I was pushing gravel tonight. What a difference with the loaded tires very little spinning and no ruts to fill in from your tires. Couldn't find rim-gaurd either. The tire company came right to my house and filled the tires. Convient!. The rears took a 45 gallon drum of calcium. I would imagine your looking at an extra 400lbs or so on the 2520.
Lots of threads on the pro's and con's of filling tires. Personally having tried both I would have it know other way!!

Good luck!

It's a small world!. Another user here "schole" is from Mt. Albert also.

Who is the tire company that did the loading for you? Closest one I found was in Barrie.

What did it cost you if you don't mind me asking?

Sure is.

The guy that did my tires does all the work at the dealer also. Evergreen Farm and Garden in Orono. Lorne has moved farther East to a small town called Roseneath which is a lot farther away than barrie.. But I gather he travels all over filling and repairing tires. Not sure of the cost haven't seen a bill yet. Lorne bills the dealer then they bill me. He was here probaly 4-5hrs though. I am sure it will be in the 300-400 range. Well worth the cash though.

good luck!

Here is a shot of the Walco I have. Still looking for the invoice

I will pm you with his number. Not sure I should post it in an open forum?
