My dad and I recently purchased an Kubota L4400 with Ag tires. I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a rear 3pt snowblower for this model. Width between the wheels is about 65" or so. A local dealer quoted a Woods SS74 for $3250. I was hoping it would come in around 2k or so. Maybe this is unrealistic for a new model. We have approximately a half mile to snowblow - two very long sand/gravel driveways in Central Michigan. Thanks.

That seems a bit high for a basic 3pt blower, especially in snow country. You should be able to get something like a 72" Pronovost Puma for $2500 or so. I am sure there are several other manufacturer models out there in the same price range. As an example, my 64" Puma was only $1800. You then have to add another $200 for hydraulic chute roataion and $100 for hydraulic chute deflection.

If you look for a Puma better look for the 74" model or larger. The max. recommended HP for the Puma-72 is 25HP. With 37 PTO HP, your L4400 might give the 72 more twist than it could take. The Puma-74 is rated for up to 40HP, the 84 will handle more yet.

Hope your lowest reverse gear is slow enough for a blower when turning 540 PTO RPM. My L4300 with only two reverse gears is way too fast.
