Who has a source for old JD manuals??

I need an original manual for a JD 39-N sickle mower. The only source I can find is a beat up one on e-bay that may not cover the 39-N. Does anyone have a source for old manuals? I can buy a photocopied one, but would prefer to have an original id possible.

By the way, what is the difference between a 39 and a 39-N ??

If no one else comes up with a source for you, you should continue watching ebay. May take a little patience but it seems manuals for just about everything show up there. I assume you tried running an internet search for it?

You might try going over to the JD Forum on Yesterdays Tractors and ask those fellas. There is a bunch of information over there on those old tractors !

You may be surprised to find that JD is a good source for old JD manuals.

I was able to order a manual from them ( 90$!!! ) for my old JD-B .. came in less than a week.

The 'green magazine' may have some leads, or as another poster sugested.. try the JD setion at ytmag.
