Getting old. Sold the ranch. Sold the tractors. Moved back to the city.
My neighbor says I should attach a few salvaged diesel engine heads to the front end.

I've seen hunks of railroad track used as front end weights.

Anyone out there have other innovative ideas for front end weights that I can pick up cheap at the junkyard (not including suitcase weights)?

Cheap front end weight(s);

1. Fluid in front tires.
2. attach chair for mother-in-law
3. My neighbor has 3 base weights for an umbrella stand from his lawn furnature. Bonus points for originality !
4. LOTS of chains wrapped around bumper/grill guard
5. concrete cast to shape with buckets/plastic container to convenient shape.

We put water in all four tires in our MF135.
it seemed to work very well as such. with just water in the back tires the steering was way to light and the front end bounced to much. with water in front it seemed to be "balanced" even with heavy implements on the 3point rear.
