The "as supplied" tongue is designed to fit onto a drawbar that doesn't exceed 1.5" thick. It has one hole for a pin. You can use either a drawbar between the lift arms or the frame mounted drawbar under the tractor or an adapter into a trailer hitch tube attached between the lift arms.
I found the Country wagon tongue assembly to be too weak for my usage. I designed a new tongue using 2" x 3" tube and redesigned and strengthened the "L" bracket that connected the tongue to the front steering axle. I also modified the tongue connector to have 2 pin holes instead of the standard one pin hole.
If you want to make the trailer or wagon easy to backup then you have to somehow lock the front steering axle so it does not pivot. This will make backing up easy, just like a boat or landscape trailer.
