This is a post for Ron of ronjhall. I have been thinking about his request for a pic of the square tubing I had welded to the rear of the deck, and finally took the time to shoot it this morning (new years resolution) and will post it now. I found the deck of my JD513 to be vulnerable to bending when backing up and plowing dirt. I had a local welding shop pound it back straight, and weld a 1 1/2" square tube onto the lower lip. It works great. The rest of the machine functions very well. I left the skiff of snow on it to try to show it better. Holler if you have any questions. Ron, sorry to take so long. I finally located your request which was on the 9th of Sept, '01. I added a big room to the house this fall and didn't find time to take the pictures.
