I'm looking for a rear blade and box blade for my BX2300 a local dealer recommended A&B Eagle Sweetwater TN , which happens to be close by.

Anyone used their implements? Or recommendations of other brands...

never heard of them. Do some searching. There are lots of posts on rear/box blades. I have a 48" gearmore box blade that I'm pretty happy with. Others like landpride or midwest. I think the howse and king kutter brands are lighter but many are happy with them. I wouldn't go bigger than 4' on a bx. My box blade can stop my bx23 in hard ground.

I have the KK XB box blade (48"). It is build bery well. Without rippers, it weighs around 260lbs, or 300lbs with rippers in. I also have 2 5 gallon buckets fillled with rocks that I can place on if/when I need extra weight (they run about 80lbs a piece). The shorter sidewalls of the XB works better with the older model BXs due to there lower linkage hieght. I think the draft pins measure approx 12" off the ground where as other, full size, BBs are around 16-18".

You may be able to fit it, however your are going to definitely sacrifice max lift height. This is especially true when the rippers are down. I am with barry, the 48" can/will stop the tractor cold depending on the soil conditions. I loose traction many times before that happens.

I have an A&B Eagleline Boxblade and rear blade, very well designed and built strong.I did a lot of research to build a landscape rake, and modeled the main frame after the A&B.
