5' Land Pride Finish Mower

I recently bought a small tractor with a Land Pride AT2560 rear finish mower.
It is a 5' - side discharge mower.
I don't need the mower and would like to sell it. Any guess at the value of this thing?
The original owner of the tractor bought it new in 2002 and the tractor had about 260 hrs on it when I bought it from him. The finsh mower probably has less than 100 hrs on it.
Any input would be appreciated.

The Land Pride equipment isn't cheap... I'd guess it's worth between $750 and $1000....

Based on being in very good condition.

Of corse I'm just guessing...

I bought a Land Pride 60" rear discharge two years ago. Paid about $1500 as I recall. Personally I'd consider a side discharge to be of slightly less value. Your opinion may differ of course.

I'd try getting something in the $800 rage as mentioned by cmhyland. Might get more if you wait until April or May.

Go to Classifieds - Classified Ads - Advertising - Used Cars - New Cars - Homes for Sale - Real Estate and do a search for finish mowers in your area. The timing is probably off right now, but before you sell it, be sure to see what others are getting for them.

I was hoping to get at least $700 for it now - maybe more if I wait till spring?
I'm pretty sure the market will improve as spring approaches.

what size tractor was that mower on? i have a kubota, 21hp, but i'm not sure it would pull a finish mower that big? i have a belly mower on it now and would sure like to use a rear mower instead.

The 5’ mower was on a Kubota B2710 - 27 hp (20 pto hp) .
I have a Woods RD7200 6' FM that I pull with the B2710 with no problem.
I do not know what the lower limit of hp would be to pull a 5' FM?
A guy I know pulls a 5' bush hog with a B21 - 21 hp (16 +/- pto hp).
I've never seen him pull it - but the only tractor he owns is the B21 and the only bush hog he owns it the 5 footer. He says it does fine - I am skeptical.

Finish mowers generally take less hp than bush hogs do. I would think that 21 hp would be ok, but I honestly cannot say for sure.

I use my JD4100 Hydro (20HP) to pull my 60" finish mower. never had any problems at all. Of course with the hydo it's easy to slow slightly if you see that the grass is really thick. But never had it stall or anything like that.
