Default Price for PTO Hydraulic Pump

I own a Kubota 7500 with a Woods 6500 backhoe using the tractors auxiliary hydraulics which produces 4.4 gals/min. I was reading the Woods owners manual (after 3yrs) and Woods recommended using a Aux. pump which produces 6gals/min. I believe my set up works fine, not having any lack of power but a 25% increase nice. My question is what could I expect to pay for the pump, is the cost worth it?
I have been away for a while (with a new camper) and see the site has changed it format, and is still a great place for information. BTY if you guys/gals need trailer advice RV.net Open Road Form is another great place for information. Like this site my wife thinks I'm married to the computer.
    Thanks,
    Ray

You will probably pay about $400.00 for the pump...

The PTO pump will also not give you more "power", it will however give you more speed due to the higher flow rate.
If you believe your setup works fine, then save your money

OK, next question. have a L5030 with a woods 9000 hoe with the pto pump on it, it works great. I sure do wish the pto pump was geared faster so I could idel the tractor down to half thottle, the amount of fuel savings would be alot and the noise level would be cut in half as well. It seams to have more than enough power to run the hoe.

    DDT,

Try it at a lower throttle setting and see how it works. Mine runs off of tractor hydraulics. I never run it much past 1200 rpms or so and it will dig as fast as I can operate it. It'll operate with the same "power" just slightly slower. If I knew what I was doing I might miss the speed but it's fine for me and there is the fuel savings.

My Woods BH9000 1999 with pump kit is plenty fast (almost too fast) at @1500 ~ 1600 rpm. I often run it at @ 1200 rpm when I'm not in a hurry (or charging by the hour). What year is yours because maybe they changed the pump capacity somewhere along the way.

The L5030 implement pump is rated at 9.8 GPM at full RPM. That would
be plenty of flow for that hoe, even throttled down to 2/3.

PTO pumps come in many capacities...some even have gear box speed
increasers. It is possible yours delivers LESS flow than the tractor's
    hyd system.

The tractor and hoe is a 03 year. I may have to see if the is a plate on the pto pump. This hoe is a lot slower than a JD48 on a 4400.

The JD 4400 has an 8.3 GPM implement hyd pump. Enough flow flow for a
48 hoe, but less than your 9.8GPM. Did the 4400 have a PTO pump?
