Going to be clearing several acres of very rocky ground in NE PA to establish food plots. Rock bucket would be a godsend for the yearly rock roundup. Also will be clearing wooded areas up to 1 acre at a time. Wondered if grapple could be attached to rock bucket for moving branches, debris and logs??

I am very pleased with it.
I'll mainly be harvesting potato to cantalope sized rocks from fields where food plots are coming. Can you sift material while moving slowly forward or do you find that you need to pilt up the rocks then use bucket??

I have to pick up the rocks and dirt and then curl & uncurl the bucket to separate the dirt. There is significant dust generated by this process. And, you are not going to get 100% separation of rocks from dirt.

I think it all depends on soil type and moisture content. If I go into sandy soil, it falls right through. Add some clay and it is a totally different story.
I've had two different rock buckets and because the front edge is so far more forward than the normal bucket, the lift capacity is quite reduced. I could easily fill my buckets with more capacity than I could lift. I just had to be careful when loading by hand. I especially liked the rocket buckets for clearing brush.
