I've been doing some surfing on the internet for a single row hipper that would attach to my 3pt. I drive a Kubota M7040 (68 engine HP) and was wondering if anybody could help me locate a manufacturer.

Also looking for a 3pt. disc harrow as well as a wheeled drag type.

Any help would be appreciated.

Big_Cajun,
I saw a small one row (hipper) unit at Progressive Equipment in Cecilia a few months ago, it appeared to be painted similar to "Howse" brand equipment. It had a cat I three point hitch and I suspect your 7040 may only handle cat II. You may want to give them a call. Hope this helps...

BC,
If Dudley doesn't have what you are looking for you can check with Cain's Tractor off of Cameron St. in Lafayette. They carry a good selection of Howse equipment. The phone number there is (337)261-5743. Keep us posted on your search.

STEvENS TRACTOR: ROUTE 1 BOX 32: COUSHATTA LA 71019:
PHONE 800-333-9143:

Stevens Tractor Under Contruction, Coming Soon!

Their website is currently under construction. I was in their store the other day, and I asked when the website would be done. The answer was not encouraging.

For a large tractor like yours, get the heavy duty model, and not the garden model. Your tractor would tear the light one up.
Sevens Tractor implements actually build their tools right behind their store in Coushatta,La

I'm looking at a set myself.

With that much HP you could easily pull 2 or more rows at once I would think. I easily pull a one row with three discs per side with my JD 850 which has about 25 HP. You could buy a larger row crop multi-row implement (6-8 rows) and cut off the excess leaving 2 or 3 rows then sell the remainder in one or two row versions. HTH.

I built mine,I purchased a TSC cultivator and added the 16 inch disc from Agri-supply;a little scrap steel.Mine bolts on,it can be removed to use just the cultivator. To answer the question wat a hiller is;it forms the rows for a garden(raised bed).

nybirdman, I am not trying to be a smart-*****, but you have the discs backwards on your hipper setup. If you turn them around so that the cupped surface of the disc is on the inside, they will do much better. Please don't take this the wrong way, just trying to help.
