I'm doing food plots and have just purchased NH TC40DA used. Need some implements, especially serrated disc and heavy duty landscape rake. Any sources in central or eartern PA that you know of??

Most of my searches for used implements seem to find the bargins in the mid-west. You can search ebay for a lot of stuff that may be very close. I've even clicked on some of the side bar links for business sales and all the good stuff still comes out of the mid-west.

Google what your looking for too, lots of hits there.

If you are planning to buy a new piece and need heavy duty rake, about 7-foot, is the York company's rake the best available??

York is probably the original rake. Back in the '60s a landscape rake was referred to as a "York Rake". They are very good.

I believe they are the most expensive, but the ones I have seen seem very heavy duty. Jay

I always wondered about that.
The first job I did with one (15 years ago, ohhh, I'm old) the guy called it a York Rake and I've always called it that.
But everyone else looks at me like i"m insane.:D

Cowboy, in the construction business in the NE, nobody knows what a landscape rake is - you always York rake the site. Funny how regions differ.

I just priced 7' rakes; York's fine device was about $1700, and the Tractor Supply down the road wanted $466.84 for their own. Guess which one I'm getting.

Happy,

With a difference of $1200 , you can't be suggesting these are equal products?

I have a Land Pride rake and I like it. I think the 6ft one I have will run you about a grand with the guage wheels

Regards,
Chris
