Is there any way you could post a picture? Also, could you give me some measurements? (length of share, # of bolts, spacing of the bolts, ect) I have a pile of aftermarket shares to fit among others, Deere plows. Most are HSS bottom parts. Maybe a few older shares. With some info, I might be able to cross match them with one of these

I think I have some shares for a BC .but I did not know they made a 3pt BC.It must be hand made.

Here is a picture of a BC with wheels . I found this on the internet .I think the plow you have is the one up from the one I have .Mine is for a MT and I think yours is for a 430. If it is then it will take the same Share as mine. I will try to have the numbers for it in a day or so. Here is a picture of mine.Same thing you have but yours is newer then mine is.

No yours came that way , it looks just like the 3 bottom. I would like to see some picture's of the front of it. When I am done with mine I can run it as a 2 or 1 bottom plow.

I'll post a picture when I'm home, but I've got one of many models of Deere 2-bottom 3-point plows. Mine is a 415A 2X14". With additional parts it could be a 3X14". It was built starting in the early 50's for Deere 40,420.430,435,50,520,530, and 1010. "801 hitch" plows were built earlier than that. They were 3-point plows more or less. Basically a CAT II hitch. Deere built 3-point plows as far as the 1980's as far as I know. They were usually sturdy plows that pulled like a boat anchor. Other brands did just as good of a job, lasted just as long, but took a LOT less power/weight/fuel/$$$$ to pull. There were millions more Ford, Massey, and Oliver 3 point,2-bottom plows. (Might have had something to do with the fact there were millions more small utility tractors from those brands in the 50's, 60's and 70's) IH plows of the day for small tractors fit THEIR tractors and more or less no one elses. By the time IH adopted 3-point on small utilities, the plow market in that hp class dropped to just about nothing. Not a lot of IH 3-point "light draft" plows to be found
Is there any way to get a good close-up of the plow bottom we're trying to fit? They may be HSS bottoms. If so, parts are fairly easy to get. Is it a 3 piece moldboard? (share, shin, moldboard?) Or 2 piece. (share, moldboard)???
When the HSS bottom came out, a lot of farmers of the day who had earlier Deere plows would retrofit to use the new design. Later, when parts got harder to get for older plows, many later owners would retrofit also. Not at all uncommon to see later bottoms on old plows.
One last note. #44 Deere plows are extremely popular with collectors who want a plow to go with their A,B,G,ect... It would be incredable if someone DIDN'T make aftermarket shares. If you're near a TSC, the ones around here carry GREEN MAGAZINE. Grab one and look in the classifieds. The Greenies LOVE to sell you stuff!
