I was pulling my middle buster(potatoe plow) between garden rows.. hit a rock.. middle buster stopped.. tractor kept going.. broke welds/ bent angle iron. Had my welder replace the "L" angle iron w/ tubing. I retired it just to digging potatoes.

Chuck has a Kubota 7040. I think he'd better find a Cat II. I suspect he'd twist a Cat I into a pretzel unless his ground was prisitine.

I think the best built subsoilers (including for Cat II 3PH) come from Tufline

I really like the look of their two 'tooth' subsoiler. I bet it is expensive.

JC, thanks for the pictures and info. I will get the middle buster. The chisel point you have bolted on is what I used to make the root rake for my FEL. they are verry tough, havent broke one yet.

JC, another thanks for the pictures. After reading the TBN threads I purchased a sub soiler for digging ditches. The lower arms didn't fit right at the attachment point...not enough clearance at the lower arm pins. I left the pins loose in order to get it on the 3PH. Now the pins are bent.

I noticed your pins are outward. Mine are inward! They were probably installed inward for transportation. Oh well, I just ordered a new pair online. I had plans to drill new holes for the pins higher up where there would be more clearance. What a simple fix to just turn the pins around!!

you're welcome guys:)

You are right as far as the cat I pins, all the KK implement I have seen at TSC on their lot had their pins installed inward or tie wrapped to the body. I'm sure it is like that for transportation. You need to drill a 7/8" hole for the new pin and don't think you have a lot of room there. Are you trying to raise or lower?

JC, Thanks to you I don't have to drill. I just have to turn the pins around. The reason I am buying new pins is because I bent the original ones by using them inverted and not tight.

I may want to modify it in the future to lower it. However, instead I may want to customize a new blade for ditch digging. I am thinking of a piece of six inch wide steel plate with a couple of mounting holes. I would prefer a flat bottom ditch. I could make the plate longer in order to make a deeper ditch.
