John, so what do you think of the 758C? I am thinking of getting the same for my TC40. And how about a picture...
Thanks,
Mark

This last weekend was the first time I was able to use the TC40D or the 758C. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the backhoe's performance. I had been concerned that I would feel it was underpowered. I used it at a friends place to dig out the foot of a bank in preparation for a retaining wall. The ground was very rocky, yet the backhoe did quite well. Also, it is more than capable of throwing the tractor around at will! /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif.

This first picture is the backhoe in action.

Here's a picture of the assembled sub-frame and backhoe, off of the tractor.

This last picture shows it's possible to get the TLB combination in a trailer with a 12 foot bed.

On a scale of 1 to 5, I would rate the backhoe a 5 grin experience! /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif/w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif/w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif/w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif/w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

John, nice rig.....great that you are having fun.......proud that as the supreme technical ignoramus, my diagnosis was correct: no fit kit....if the kit dont fit you must acquit.....is that san diego or a photoshop trick......why do some trees have no vegetation, others have lush green, and others are yellow, inluding the palms....socal is so psychedelic....

Is that oranges on that tree? Or possibly grapefruit?

Bird,
They're oranges.

glennmac,
There was a pretty good frost a few weeks ago, which caused the bare tree to lose it's leaves. Typically, it only drops about half of them, but several nights of mid to upper 20's dropped them all. The other trees are all green. The picture was taken late in the day, and there was some tinting of the photo from the yellowish sunset. For that last week or so, we've been "struggling to cope" with February highs in the mid 80's./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif Nothing like year round, prime tractoring weather....
