Anyone have a Bradco 408 backhoe mounted on a NH TC25/29/33? I have 1/2 of the subframe kit installed, and it appears that the lower 3pt arms will clear the ground by only 3" when the hoe is mounted. If anyone has experience with this tractor/backhoe combination, I would appreciate comments on your experiences.

JohnInCA - As you know, I had a Bradco 609 installed on a Kubota L4310 (and an L3650, I think, before that), so my experinece may not be at all applicable, but I did have a similar situation. What I had to do was simply loosen the sway adjusters so the side links would swing closer to the center - then I could raise the side links up out of the way completely. This was a bit of a pain with the L3650, because of the turnbuckle adjusters, which were frequently bent because of the way I abused them, but with the L4310, I could just lift the two pins out of the holes (I threw the clips that locked them in place in the tool box the second day I had it), swing the side links all the way in, drop the pins back in, and I was done.

I don't have a backhoe (nor do I play one one TV), but I have been nosing around for one for my TC33D (just in case I ever can justify it). I know one of NH's big selling points on their hoe is that you don't have to remove any of the 3 pt hitch parts to mount it. They claim that most (all?) of the aftermarket ones do require removing 3 pt hitch parts.

Hopefully, Mark C's pointer will work for you, and you can leave the arms on. Let me know how it works out... it may affect my future purchase (or at least my dreams of a purchase).
