I noticed in the Harbor Freight sale flyer that came yesterday that they have their 3 point quick hitch (item 93691) on sale for 69.99. They say it's good for up to 45 hp tractors with cat. 1 hitches. It's cheap enough to try, if you want to experiment without spending much. I'd be interested in hearing how they can be used, though the extra weight might be an issue on small CUTs?

Mornin Varmint,
Harbor Freight at times has some descent stuff for sale that wont break the very first time you use it and thay have some junk also :( For $69.95 you wouldnt think you could get hurt too bad but Im sure it probablly doesnt stack up to Pats Quick hitch either. Honestly thats all pure conjecture on my part since I own neither ! But when you look at the difference in the price, Im sure your getting something with better quality components in the more expensive unit !

Mine arrived by FEDEX this morning. Way too cold to go out play with it.

But, as others have said on the other threads, it isn't wide enough. It is 26-1/2 inches wide inside-to-inside. The attachement points on my KK 6-foot rear blade, my KK 5-foot box blade, and my PHD are all 28-1/2 inches wide. My Howse brush mower is 27-1/2 inches wide.

It sure looks reasonably well built -- pretty good for the price. I just hope I can bend it out with a jack like others have done.

Happy tractorin'

What about turning the pins inward?

I have one and it fits all my implements just fine. It sure is nice to simply back up and lift the bush hog instead of wrestling with it to get it hooked up. I think the newer ones are wider.

I have one but I also have trouble with my implements. The problem is that there is not standard widths for implement hitches. It wont fit on any of my top links with the implements with the hook that comes with it. You have to get the adapter for that. It will work with my box blade but to use it with my brushhog I would have to adapt the three point hitch on my brushhog. Although I do not have one to me pats quick hitch would be a better option.

Hi All!

I have one and have used it for 6 or so months. I love it! It works great. :p

There IS a standard for Cat 1 hitches and the newer HFT Quick hitch is right in there. It's the implement makers that choose to totally ignore the standard.

I have a box blade and a bush hog. The bush hog fits fine but the box blade was too wide. I decided that all of my implements would work with the QH so I modified the box blade to fit.

I have also made a few home made implements so they all fit fine.

For the price it is a must have for me. If it got stolen I'd but another in a heartbeat!
