Kubota L2800 4WD FEL
Hi all,

I am getting ready to purchase a Kubota L2800 and also need a good bush cutter to maintain a 7acre pastureas well as a 5' box blade for maintaining a driveway as well as other dirt moving jobs. What are some of you recommendations for both. I have been looking at the SQ600 mower from bushhog with the slip clutch connection. One dealer quoted me $1100 for this one. Sound right? Any and all other suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Wade

Welcome to TBN. Where are you located? Some folks (dealers) offer package deals for a set price. Might be a better deal than buying tractor and implements seperately. Just a thought.

Thanks. The dealer is offerering the SQ600 bushhog for$1100 with my purchase but I don't know if this is a deal or not. He also quoted me a BH box blade for $600.. Do these prices sound fair? I live in Clover SC.

Thanks

I've got an L3000DT which is about the same tractor except live PTO and a couple more horsepower.

I don't own a rotary cutter so nothing to recommend there.

I have a Woods Box Blade but do not know if it is really any better than a King Kutter. I would recommend buying a regular blade, too, for stuff like snow removal because a box blade doesn't work very well for that. You might find yourself using the regular blade for maintaining a gravel drive.

I would check with Tractor Supply to see if you can save some money on implements.
