I have been checking out the different disc and dealers lately. After looking at the different prices I was resigned to the fact I could only swing for a 6' angle iron standard duty. I kept getting quotes in the $700-$800 range. The steel tubed disc were at least $1000+. On my way to Tractor Supply I decided to stop off at a small implement only dealer. They offered a Howse
6' heavy duty 3" tubed at 840lbs for $695. They said they would have to order it. Thinking they were mistaken I ordered it and to my surprise they got it in by the afternoon. Checking the Howse website they list it for $1348. Me and my dad managed a 6' disc, 62" tiller, and 6' rake for $2400. I feel good with these prices.

That's a steal. I've priced discs for the past couple months and never came across anything like that. In fact, I purchased a Dale Phillips 7 1/2', 24x20, 1000# disc yesterday for $1215 which was several hundred $$$ less than comparable discs elsewhere around here.

If you are in Conroe it would take you about 30-40 minutes due east on hwy 105 in Moss Hill. I may need to make a correction it is called a medium heavy duty on the Howse site. Med-Hvy Duty
