Does anybody here have any suggestions on a 3 point Cement mixer. I have a Kioti ck20HST that i am going to use for this. I am thinking about one of the ones that is at northern tools. Any ideas or experiences in the use of one of these would be hekpfull. THnaks

It looks as though Northern Tool and TSC carry the same mixer. NT wants $900 + S&H, cost dependent upon where you live. TSC wants $998 no s&H if you have a TSC close enough to pick it up.
I have no experience with a 3Pt Hitch Mixer so I can't help you there. Just trying to save you some $.
Be patient, someone will give you experience info.

Try Agri-Supply. They have one for $599. bjr

The Agri-Supply mixer is called the Mixer80, which I have owned for
years. They have the best price I have seen for it. Do a search for
"concrete mixer" on TBN and you will find lots written about mixers.

As to using this or any mixer on the CK20, my concern is the tractor
is not very tall at the rear, so dumping the mixer could be an issue. I
now use my mixer on a CK30, which is taller and I need every bit of
height I have. I have also purchased a CK20, so I am quite familiar
with that fine tractor, too.

GOOD EVENING GUYS.

I TOO HAVE THE MIXER 80 FROM TSC ON MY B3030
AND ALSO AGREE THAT YOU NEED THE HEIGHT FOR THIS TO WORK WELL.

I USE MINE MOSTLY FOR SONO-TUBES AND IT WORKS VERY WELL!

PURCHASED MINE 2 YEARS AGO FOR $678.00. I PICKED IT UP AT THE STORE. IT WAS A NEW STORE IN CT., SO IT TOOK ALMOST 6 WEEKS TO GET IT, SOMETHING ABOUT FILLING A TRACTOR TRAILER WITH ORDERS BEFORE THEY COULD DELIVER. YOU WILL NEED A REAR REMOTE TO DUMP THE CONTENTS. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR QUEST.

I'm very interest in the 3 point hitch mixer. I notice it is about 1/3 yard. Does the hydraulics work well dumping? We have a L3650; would that have enough height? How much height works best? I presume that you usually dump directly into place and not to a wheel barrow - the wheel barrow would likely be too high.

How do you stop the mixing - from the tractor or does mixer have a shut down?

Thanks for the information

Garth

HEY GarthH,

your tractor should have the height you need. my b3030 is fine
for the height. you could adjust the height you need with your 3 pt hitch.
dumping is with your rear remote, slow or fast. you stop the mixing by way of your pto handle. speed is also adjusted by your engine speed. you just have to be carefull not to have it too watery! what a mess!!!!! a word of advice i learned the hard way, hose down the rear portion of the tractor, it's easier to clean up afterwards. i use mine often at remotes sites for pouring pads and steps for good size statues. beats running extension chords.

good luck

thanks for the info it helps on the looking process. I might have t mae some ramps or something to make this work if i decide to get one. It would make my life easier. Although is a reaon for a bigger tractor HEHEEHEH! always a reason for that.
