Re: top,N,tilt with backhoe?

Peter -

So the top cylinder comes off when you use the 4690 and you
use the Kubota HD toplink, right? Sounds like what I need to
do is get the 4690 first and then figure out the T&T so that it
"gets out of the way" for the BH.

I like your implement collection. A 3PH chipper is next on my
wish list...maybe need that more than the BH since I could
rent a TLB for a week for immediate needs but the brush
always needs to be dealt with. How do you like the Patu?

Re: top,N,tilt with backhoe?

I have a 2710 and the 4672 hoe, but the dimensions are all the same as a 2910/4690 WRT the 3PH. The hoe requires the remaoval of the top link (whether hydraulic or OEM). The hoe itself has a very heavy duty steel plate that attaches to the reinforced top link BRACKET. You are probably seeing a reference to this HD toplink bracket that is required in place of the original bracket. As long as your TnT setup is easily removable, and the valve is positioned so as not to interfere with the backhoe seat, you should be in business. Good Luck. I am in the process of defining my bill of materials for my own TnT project. (I do the bill of materials instead of buying when I'm short of cash. Then, when I have the dough, I am all ready to order.) See my next post on the valve selection.

Re: top,N,tilt with backhoe?

The Patu's great, but I'd recommend a power feed if you can afford it.
