Just got my TC40DA back with it's latest addition, "The Bull". I'm looking forward to having a chance to play with it and give a review of it. I was interested in its multi-functions, (Grip, Lift, Rip, Sift, Sort, Rake & Spread as advertised by its manufacturer.)

Specs: Twin 21/2" bore "Chief" cylinders w/ 24,540 ftlb of crushing force; 1/2" thick laser cut steel frame; 3/8" laser cut T1 steel rake;
23/8" OEM tube, 3/8" wall; 11 gauge 3/4 x 9 expanded metal screen; 2-wire braid hoses 4,500 psi working pressure, 16,000 psi resisting burst pressure; 5-point quick release system; claw opens 100 degrees.

I'm new to attaching photos and haven't figured out how to have just links to the photos rather than having them imbedded. Sorry to those who have dial up.

They're manufactured in Port Orchard, WA and are available via tractor dealer installation only I believe. I would recommend contacting them directly: Poor Tortured MFG., Inc., PO Box1595, Port Orchard, WA 98366. Sorry that I don't have a phone number or web info.

We bought ours as part of a package sale on the TLB, canopy, grill guard, thumb, rear remote and 3rd function kit, etc. Not sure what the real breakdown would be individually.

Looks like it would crush cars and 55 gallon barrels real easy, maybe you'll play and take some pictures of it at work
Jim:)

Yeah it is "healthy" looking. I'm curious to get at it. We don't have much to challenge it here besides some alders and a compost pile that needs turning. One of the reasons I was interested in the grate part of it was to filter out rocks and water. We're looking at getting some undeveloped land (about 40 acres) that will probably give the grapple and BH/thumb some challenges. :D

Thanks for the contact info. It looks like a very nice addition. Let us know how it works.

What are you going to use the bull for? The screen in front is curious. What is that for? It looks like the grill/screen will snag brush so it might be difficult to cleanly or quickly drop a load of brush once you've loaded the thing.

Be careful with those hydraulic lines too. They are in a pretty vulnerable spot. When you crush brush/wood, sometimes it will pop through the upper tines and those lines that are not behind the screen are unprotected.

Yep, I had to go back up and look. Sift is one of it's functions. That is slick.

Gee whiz, I think it'd even make Julienne fries!!! :D

Nice looking unit. I bet it'd even keep the grandkids out of trouble for a while.
