What does one cost new? I have a chance to buy one for about $700-$800 bucks but have to drive 130 miles to get it. I am thinking the light duty 1572 sells retail for about $6xx and the 3572 is the heavy duty. This one doesn't have hydraulic cylinders to control angle, offset or tilt but I'll probably put cylinders on it later.

The only hydraulic capability of the RB35 series is offset, which is not often that useful. The RBT35 series allows for hydraulic tilt, angle and offset. I wouldn't go any higher than that price for a used and that price is fair. I bought an used RB4096 last fall in excellent shape with angle hydraulic cylinder for $1400. Previous owner paid $2400.

Sounds like a pretty good price. There's one on eBay now with a bid of $695 with one day left. I have found them selling for $900 elsewhere.

The one on ebay is the one I'm talking about. The guy said he used it twice and has a bigger one he uses more often, he said he practically never uses this one.

It can be fitted with hydraulics for anlge and tilt if you have a welder and know how to use it.

That could be said for any blade.

The balde I was talking about (LandPride RB 3572) was on Ebay, I got it for $695 and I swear the thing is brand new, it could very easily pass for it. The paint wasn't wore off the cutting edge anywhere or around the inside of the pin holes or top link. I had to drive about 340 miles round trip, the guy gave me his original bill of sale and he paid just shy of $1000 for it, figure that the price of steel has gone up alot since then a new one now would probably be about $1200 or so. I was very pleased! I advise folks to get on Ebay and sort the farm implements by nearset first and see what's out there. Lately I've been finding some good stuff in my area. A few weeks ago I bought 3 sets of 100 lbs. wheel weights for my tractor at $50 a set.
