Fence Line Trimmer

   / Fence Line Trimmer #11
My neighbor bought one that started with a V maybe valcom?
Anyway he hated it and tried to sell it to me. I used it a few hours and decided not to buy it. It worked OK on wood post but not on T post. I still have several T post that are "not straight" in the ground and the wire is stretched. You have to go real slow and if you don't have HST like me your clutch foot gets really tired. It works better it you make a pass down both sides of the fence row instead of getting close so it cuts both sides. It seemed to work OK around trees as long as you kept the height above the roots and went real slow.

Oh, that's not what I thought it was. I was expecting a string trimmer underneath the deck. It still looks like it would work good, but it's not going to trim right up to the posts. Thanks for the info, if I ever build something I can use the picture for ideas.

just saw an add for one of these only on a 3 pt mower - it looked like it had a set of regular blades, and the "swing" attach on the side.

I'll look up the add tonite and see what info there is to share with the group...
