There was a thread awhile back about sharping a ripper shank and cutting through the roots. Sounds just the ticket.

Well... I just went and bought a box of bolts! 2 acres took around 6 hours to plow and went through 10 bolts... There are still a few big root balls that I know of - I'll probably try something more clever (than a plow) for getting them out!
