TWO GUNS, I would also like to see that link on how the tranny works. I think that I am using mine correctly but more help is always welcomed.

This forum, is the one that 99% of folks use for the RTV ~~~
I have learned so much about my Kubota. Like I said before, I HAD TO LEARN MYSELF on how the unit was set up to be used. The RTV has more power than you know, until you master the true process on how this hydro-transmission is designed, you'll will never know what this thing can do.
I use mine on the plantation for EVERYTHING, and been with others that has put there RTV threw heelll muddy swamps with the aggressive tires. Never getting stuck . Don't under- estimate this machine, for it is there, trust me, you will be surprised on what this thing can & will do. Get on that forum, read till your eyes bleed, ( like every other RTV owner does ) and learn this stuff, it's not in the owners manual, it's from people who know. Get on the other web site & join, any questions, there are hundreds of owners out there willing to help , always. DON'T GIVE UP, YOU HAVE GOT THE MASTER MACHINE ON THE MARKET (KUBOTA RTV ) , I KNOW, I HAVE HAD THEM ALL !!!! There are some other great utility vehicles out there, but if you want a super tuff machine, dependable, strong, and will get you anywere you want to get, you've got it, the Kubota RTV .....

Two Guns, When you put the 27 inch tires on did you have to use a 2" lift kit to keep the front tires from hitting when coming down a hill?

DON'T HAVE A LIFT KIT.

I was in Bardstown Ky. today, saw an RTV with 6042 hrs. in the shop. The company had the tires foam filled long ago to eliminate flats, they run this machine 24hrs. all three shifts. They were replacing the U-joints in the rear axles and the only other mechanical failure it has had was a broken shifter fork.

THAT IS AMAZING !!!! Mine will never, in it's life time, probobly get close to even a 1/4 of that !!!!!

It is amazing, Kubota builds two products that will outlast just about anything else available. The RTV's... and the ZD's. I don't think anyone else really offers a machine that can claim the longevity that these guys do.

you kniow what they say about them deisel engines . as long as you do the upkeep when it's due they will run forever. if i sell my hpx meybe i might be able to get that rtv. who knows i know i'm gonna find another workhores for sure.

Seems like the ZD's have a really bad reputation here on TBN. Mine is on it's third year of service and I cut about five acres a week and have had zero problems. When looking at a lot of the others on the market mine sure looks heavier built than most of them. I am amazed though, a lot of guys near me are buying air cooled gas jobs for as much as I paid for my ZD.
