Shortly after getting my 1100, I Determined the bed was not very large for being able to cary the advertized weight.

Attached are some photos of the larger Stainless steel bed I made for mine.

The stock bed is 10 inches deep. Mine is 20 inches at the front and 15 at the back.

I was also able to make it about two inches wider.

I also built a rear window guard from alumium

I have attached some photos.

Let me know if anyone wants more info on this project.

Chuck

I would have used Stainless if i had some.

I had the Alum.

It's 1/4 inch thick so it should do the job.

Not sure what they were used for. I had two of them and welded them together. The holes are 2 1/4 inches in dia.
