2008 Kuboto RTV900R 1874 hours fair price

Hi, I am looking at a 2008 Kbota RTV900R with 1874 hours. It is camo with the powerdump box. Camo Poly roof. No windshield (yet).

They want $6900 for it as it sits from a dealer.

The hours scare me a little bit but it sure beats paying $8-$9k

How long can I expect this machine to last assuming it's been taking care of reasonably well?

The dealership says the machine was used on a poultry farm hauling feed.

Please help me decide if I should jump on this or if I should just be patient. Thanks.

Before we bought our new RTV, the dealer had an 06 or 04 for sale with 900 hours and would not budge off 7500.00. They say the hold their value very well and sell about 3/4 of the original price. Your machine does have twice as many hours but I have heard the engines do last a long time.

Yeah I think they seem to be a good dealer. And yes they are a Kubota dealer. I was going to ask them to throw in a windshield to sweeten the pot.

I would think twice about any equipment from a poultry operation. It is coming from a highly corrosive environment and I would be concerned with rust everywhere.

no I ended up buying a 2010 kawasaki mule 4010 trans. For 7250. It only had 18 hours on it.
