Hi everyone! I bought a 3010 Trans4x4 Diesel, and love the thing. I am a first time 4x4 owner and the previous owner kept meticulous care of it, but I am getting ready to do some basic things like oil change, etc, and figured I would join here because it's going to be my go to place in the future when I have questions.

I looked underneath the bed today, and I saw something that didn't look white. It's a plastic bottle like thing, with an arrow pointing up written on it, but it's not connected to anything? What is it, and where do I attach it to? Sorry I am going to have to learn. Please see photo below.

I have the same question on my 2015 Mule

At first I thought it had slipped out of a bracket but could not find anywhere to attach it .

Looking forward to an answer.

It's an expansion bottle that catches any lubricant that might overflow - escape when the assembly is at operating temp. It's a green thing. Has a one way valve in the bottom that allows air in as the assembly cools off as well.

Well thank you so much! I guess it doesn't need to connect to anything then.
