bobcat s 175 wont start

Hi I am new to this forum: I have a s 175 that shut off on me the other day. The funny thing is that even with the key in the off pos. the blower fan and lights still work. I turn the key to try and start and nothing. From everyone I talked to they said to try a new ign. switch. so I did. That was not the problem. Im thinking it might be the dash where the key goes but dont want to spend the money if thats not the problem. Any help would be great. Thank you.

Does it not crank the engine or will engine crank but not fire? I hope you disconnected battery cable, not only to save battery but it could be a short in wire harness that could overheat and cause a melt down or fire.
Check with a dealer, most service departments have left and right test panels to plug in and see if that is the problem before buying a new one.
