I just purchased a Loflin back hoe. I purchased it to dig footings. Not often, 2 or 3 a year. Just an excuse to buy another tool. I love it. I don't know why others are not using them. So mobile. Once I pass the learning curve, and can operate it without thinking about it, it will be much faster than the units I have been renting. Not to mention that since I have a skid steer, it cost pennies compared to buying another unit for digging. Anyway, I was wondering if the toggle on the handle could be reversed. I'm sure after awhile that I would get used to it, but it seems logical that to cup the bucket, I pull my thumb inward and to open/push, I push my thumb out. Yet that is opposite of how the controls are. Seems I recall in the manual that it can be reversed. Does anyone know? If so, I will find it and reverse it, if not, you have saved me the trouble of looking. Loflin Fabrication
