| Re: CT230 delivery times I managed to get very lucky on a deal with the bobcat dealer in Conroe, Texas. Outdoor Equipment Outlet. He had set up a dealer transfer of 4 CT230s and one of his customers backed out. I picked up the order and had my CT230 in my driveway not even a week later.
While Travis at Outdoor Equipment Outlet was a great guy and a pleasure to deal with my point is this: There are machines sitting on dealer lots right now, probably not many but if I got one in a week I have to imagine there are others out there. Travis told me that some dealers, including the one he got the transfers from, ordered a bunch of CT230s to put on their lot thinking the rebate would last until September 31st(the origional end date). |

| Re: CT230 delivery times You guys have way more patience then I do. I can recall when I bought my tractor in April 2003. I wanted it NOW. Fortunatly my NH dealer had probably a dozen TC35D's on the lot to pick from. I did my test drives with the various transmissions and quickly settled on a hydro. I told my salesman, I will take THAT one ! We configured the options I wanted, came to terms on a price and it was delivered a week later.
Now Please don't anybody take offense to this, But even as much as I think the new Bobcat tractors are nice, I know my personality better and there is No Way could I or would I, wait up to 2 month's for one. I would be off to another dealer of "whatever" color who could stock what he sells and deliver it.
Now, to be fair and realistic. I wouldn't be urprised that given the currant economy, most dealers aren't wanting to keep anymore high $$$ inventory then absolutly necessry. |

| Re: CT230 delivery times I ordered my CT230 on June 23rd, salesmen said they had on coming that was mine...2 weeks. Then after 3 weeks he said I was too late for that deal and now I have to wait until early august, THEN he said 60 days from my order date which was July 1...wrong it was June 23. So he think soon now..
However, I'm picking up a CT225 tonight and keeping it until my 230 arrives, its rental fleet and he gave me the choice of it of a T140 track loader. I wanted the loader but I need to put a pad in at my cabin and towing 6600 lbs 5 hours was more than I really cared to do.. plus the ct 225 is basiclly the same machine I bought so I can beat it on the crap jobs around the house.
Poor experience but I looked a orange and green machines but they are about $5k more and almost 1000lbs lighter. I just like the bobcats and the extra money.
God save the loaner I'm getting..

| Re: CT230 delivery times To provide an update to those of you who are waiting, I emailed my dealer this week asking for an update and he claimed that We should be good to go for delivery next week. Quote was signed 7/27, CC was hit for the down payment 7/30. Compared to what some of you have posted, it almost seems too good to be true..
Either way, I am excited! |

| Re: CT230 delivery times Called my dealer yesterday to ask about ETA on my CT230 which I ordered and put down my 10% deposit on 7/1. Dealer said they will be getting 5 of them some time next week, coming from some where in the mid west. They already got the FELs. Dealer initially told me it would be about 6 to 8 weeks, so he was pretty accurate about the ETA.
