Default CT230 to be delivered today

If all goes well, I get my 230 today. I signed the paperwork this morning and gave them directions. Now I hold my breath..

If it were not for the loaner I would have dumped this tractor and gone green but having a 122 loaner made up for the 129 days since I signed the check for the down payment.

Honestly, I would not buy from this salesmen ever again..today we had an appontment for 8am he never showed as of 8:30. The last time he was 20 minutes late for an 8am meeting. Lots of BS..> no bull.

Me too although I didn't get the loaner. I used my dads little (and I mean little) JD rider mower after we pushed it (3-4 hours) all through July and part of August. I'm not very impressed with my dealer either but what to do. The "good" dealers here already have NH or Kubota lines and do not carry the tractor line. Anyway, should see mine this afternoon too.

Howdy,

Just got my 230 delivered today (Olathe, KC, Ks0. They called ahead of time and I asked them to check the hydraulic pressures before delivery. The pressures were too high (2800 psi) and they adjusted to the normal operating pressures of 2611psi. This was a tip from dfkrug to check pressures on a new tractor. Good tip, since I am a new guy.

Well, to offer feedback on the 122 I had it was a good little machine. Almsot all the machine I would need it I did not want to run a 5' mower. I dug, graders, scooped, knocked over trees and pulled logs out of the woods.

I'm glad I got the 30..I'll be gaining 1000lbs and 10 hp to do more but compating the 122 to my father in law's b7800 (which is 30hp)..there is alot more machine to the bobcat. In fact the 230 will weight about 700lbs more than his 30hp and cost about 6K less.

My Bobcat dealers is a construction guy...and will never be ag friendly. One of the downsides..

Well I've been waiting for 4 months to do this. So far I'm impressed with my CT230 (all 3 hours). It's a lot of tractor. I was used to my 25hp Cub compact and this is so much more. A little too much right now as it's been raining all of October. It would make marks in the yard in some areas.

Hey FlyingMN
Nice tractor. What is the brand name on that orange mower? Where did you get it? Nice unit. I want one!
Have fun.

It's a landpride 5' finish mower. I picked it up at Lano Equipment in Anoka, MN. I wish they sold the bobcat tractors but they have the Kubota line so that's not gonna happen. I am really happy with them. I would have got the 6' but I have some narrow areas where it wouldn't work. The problem with the 5' is the tire tracks overlap each pass giving the yard a double packing. It's a heavy tractor and I was a little concerned this fall but after it dried out a little it worked fine. I'm glad I waited too - I'm really happy with it so far.
