Filter/Fluid Prices 2012
Just FYI. I've been meaning to post how much I spent on the filters and fluids so far for my CT235 from the local Bobcat Dealer. I just picked these up last week. And no the engine oil filter price is not a mis-print. That is exactly what is printed on the invoice. I didn't notice it until after I got back home. However, it has to be a computer error because I paid $7.91 previously. Next time I get back to the dealer I will bring it to his attention.
$36.50 - Engine Oil Filter (6696286)
$11.12 - Hydrostatic Filter (6695914)
$45.61 - Hydraulic Filter (6695913)
$14.22 - 15w-40 1 Gal (6903106)
$34.44 - Hydraulic Fluid 2.5 Gal (6903117)
$4.99 - 80-90w Gear Lube 1qt -(Tractor Supply)
Previous Purchases
$70.71 - Heater Kit (7172027)
$25.35 - Locking Gas Cap (6661696)
Oh, thanks Dennis for the pic on the front axle breather tube. It was tucked up there nice. After being under water, surprisingly I couldn't see any traces of water in the fluid. I drained it in a clear container. The fluid looked "used" and definately needed changed.

Re: Filter/Fluid Prices 2012
Just like everything else, price of parts have gone up a little.
The price of the engine oil filter and the hydrostatic filter (6695914) are swapped, engine filter shoud be $11.12, obviously a typo.
I would call the dealer and have them look at it, not only to correct the oil filter price but double check the $36.50 for hydrostatic filter, that's the only 1 that seems out of scale but then I may be looking at an earlier price sheet.
No problem on the vent hose info. Just wanted to make sure you checked for water and hose was open to breath.Dennis

Re: Filter/Fluid Prices 2012
Went to the dealer yesterday and the oil filter price was wrong. The correct price is $11.74. Funny, the year before I paid $7.91 for the filter. Got to luv inflation. As for everything else was ok. I did purchase the correct quantity of fluids for the tractor. I just listed the single unit price. Oh..the price of a six pack of beer went up too. Went from $5.89 to $6.19 for Bud pounders.
