Bobcat CT335
Hello again!

Life is full of surprises. I purchased my CT335 just a year ago, and though I didn't order this option,
I just discovered that it has a mid-mount pto. See attached photos. The only things that are missing
are the mid-mount pto engagement lever beneath the seat and the pto shaft cover. The newly discovered
pto does work but I just will not be able to dis-engage it to use just the rear mount pto.

MY question is: Is it possible to add the mid-mount pto engagement lever myself, assuming that I can get
that assembly from the dealer? I'll be checking with my dealer tomorrow, but thought I'd throw out the
question to forum readers for their comments.

Shouldn't be too hard to install. The pivot mount for the control lever is already on the frame under the seat, just a matter of installing the arm and attaching the linkage rod from control lever to the bell crank (control arm) going into the transmission. This bell crank is also installed at factory.

Hi Dennis!

Thank you for your response to my query on mid mount pto on my CT335
tractor.

Do you have part numbers for the components needed to install the mid-
pto lever and linkage? I purchased the CT335 service manual, thinking
that installation details would be included in the manual, but only the
procedure for removing or installing the mid-pto lever is in the manual,
with no details on the linkage from the lever to the bell crank on the side
of the transmission.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the delay. Due to family emergency I have been off line for sometime.
This link will take you to the Bobcat Parts Catalog. Scroll down on the tab to select your model & serial number, then "GO". Choose "Accessories" the Mid PTO kit to see parts illustration page. You will need items #29 - 41. Bobcat dealer should be able to print the instructions for you.

Thanks, Dennis!

I've tried that link but all I get is an incomplete page with the notification:

Notifications
*Contact your local Bobcat dealer for pricing and purchasing of Bobcat products & parts listed on this site. We do not sell parts from this site and do not have access to pricing and availability information.

No provision for selecting a model number and/or serial number.

I'll eventually get up to my dealer. Haven't made it up there yet due to problems with my vehicle,
which is back in the garage for an engine problem.

Again, thanks for the information. At least I now know that I need items #29 - 41 on the mid-pto
kit parts illustration page.

Thanks, Dennis! That's just what I need. I'll feel more comfortable having this information when
I get to the dealer.

As a side note, I just discovered why I couldn't access the Bobcat parts catalog, since
I was using the Firefox browser. I switched to IExplorer and was then able to access
the information for the mid pto kit.

Again, thanks Dennis for your assistance.
