Nobody else have problems getting this undone. Now I've rounded the edges. Might end up welding something to it to unscrew it

yea i know what your talking about. i just went to check mine on a ct225 at 55 hours and it wouldn't budge. manual said that i have time still but was just checking it out. i was afraid that i would break off muffler. i may have to try it when it is hot or add heat to it when i try again. let me know if you get it and how u did it.

Gonna try in morning. I went by lowes and picked up a nut/bolt extractor. I may have to take muffler off because alternator is in the way. I tried just with way it is but can't get it on there tight enough.

Might want to order a new one now so when you take it off you can put a new one on. Wonder what the odds are of them having one in stock. Did you try spraying it with any type of liquid wrench that might help but I'm thinking heat is going to be the only way to get those things loose.

I ended up leaving the extractor on. Dealer is closed today. I used kroil and wd40. Used 3/8 breaker bar and heat and little tapping.

Did you have to put an acetylene torch on it or just run it until it got hot
