My effort for a bucket level indicator. When the bucket is level on the ground see photo one. when bucket is in dig position see photo two. A piece of 3/8" rebar, small section of 1/2" pipe. Upper mount a small piece of 3/16" flat metal, lower mount a small piece of 1/4" flat metal.

winston1,

Nice add on. Looks like a simple design, and very effective. That is what I need on my Kubota BX2350. And YES, I'm going to try to copy it ! :cool2:

Nice add on but what happened to the original one that comes the loader? On the original the tube clamps to the cylinder so it is adjustable for amount of rod protrusion desired and with it clamped to cylinder the angle of the tube to bar always stays the same so rod is not rubbing on tube in full dump or roll back.

No idea it was suppose to have one. I will investigate and maybe change a bit.

Thanks to SSdoxie I went to the Bobcat parts pages, took a look at the Bobcat indicator and believe I have now fastened it similiar to theirs. It works anyway.

Awesome. Mine doesn't have one.
Does it rattle?

Hard hearing as I am I couldn't say it does or doesn't. Engine noise is definitely louder than rattle if it has one.

Same here. If it does rattle, it blends in with other noises of tractor. If rattle was noticeable the outer tube could be made using PVC.

The CT235s use the same 7TL loader as the CT225s, right? My 7TL came with an indicator.

Mine may have come with one but buying it second hand I'll never know.
