I agree all dirt won't be cleaned out of ditch, I always expect to do some shovel work but loose dirt shovels much easier.

Personally I would rent a good trencher and go deeper. Years form now you wont know where the line is and irrigation pipe is no match for a shovel. I would go at least 18" to 2' or more. Good luck.......as for the need of a fish cleaning table, I go fishing, but never catch anything :confused3::ashamed:. What is your secrete? :D

Hi guys did trench in some pipe this weekend worked well I took the shovel off the middle buster and added shank off my box scarper . This set up buried the pipe about 2ft deep which was just fine for what i was doing. Trenched in about 400 ft of pipe in no time at all didn't hardly leave a make above ground.

Looks like you did an excellent job although I don't understand exactly how you fed the pipe in there? :confused3:

That's what I am wondering as well. How did you feed the pipe in and especially how did you keep from kinking it as you went.

The way I've seen it DIY'd is by using a PVC 90 long attached behind the blade of the middle buster. The wire/pipe is fed through that.

I will try and get a pic of what i did. I put a small piece of chain around bottom of my ripper shanks and feed the tube threw it and started pulling worked great and fast.

Did you have a helper feeding out the tubing as it was pulled? I've rolled out 250 yards of 1" polyline and it was a huge pain to roll out and keep from kinking.
