Trying to hook up an old Dearborn sickle mower to my CT225. Having one heck of a time rigging it. I used it 1 time on my 8N, back in the day.
6-7 yrs ago. Remember it being a chore to figure then. Wish I took some pics.
Is anyone using one? That I could get some pics from you.
There's an arm that's a trip arm???
It goes underneath the axle. It gets real close to my hydraulic filter.
That would be my next LUCK, ripping it off.
I'm going to half to weld an extension on to the PTO shaft, I believe.
Thanks for any help, u can give me!

Well the old sickle mower (Dearborn 14-16) was definitely made for the OLD tractors. The old tractors are wider between the tires etc.
With some modifications got her running!
Cut 1/2 acre last nite.
Cuts Great! Go SLOW! This one clattity clacks! Likes to shake!!!
I believe they are nicknamed "THE SHAKER"!
Cut another 1/2 acre today.
Snapped the top bar almost in half.
It doesn't have the adjustable top link, for adjustment.
Gonna have to modify.
But were getting there.
It's FUN, or I wouldn't be doing it!
I would never make any money at this,
LOL!
But my horses will appreciate it.
No belong, just gonna dry it out, and throw in the feeder.
Thanks again Winston 1!
