Steel caster wheels for backhoe dolly
I have been looking around for 3 steel caster wheels that swival and are rated for at least #800 pounds. The backhoe, frame, and dolly will tip the scales at approximately 2100 #. Checked harbor freight, only rubber tires that I'm sure would not withstand the load for long periods of time. Anyone know of a source ?

I ordered a couple of sets of these, but haven't recieved them yet, so don't know about quality -
eBay: 5 x 2 Poly on Steel Wheel – Swivel Caster – Industrial (item 170116598908 end time Jun-03-07 17:35:47 PDT)
I also found these at Rural King:

Check out Surplus Center. They have several styles in cast iron. Here's an 8" swivel style rated at 1000 lbs.

Re: Steel caster wheels for backhoe dolly
Thanks for the info. Looks like the surplus center has the one I like best for the application. 8" wheel should roll easily also.
