Well, here it is. Just completed today. Ground is still very frozen, and plenty of snow, so cannot do a real performance test, but in no-load mode it seems to do what I want. If I knew how to establish links, I could post step-by step construction pics with captions

Great idea! When you use it keep an eye on that extended part of angle iron up to the cyl top mount. If you see it flex youll know to add some strategic bracing. Much easier before it bends.

Spyderlyk- I agree that failure of this post would be catastophic. I used heavier stock than I have ever used on previous projects, just to prevent (hopefully) such failure. That post is two pieces of 3 x 3 x 3/8 angle. Some of the function of this grand apparatus will be in-ground wiggling of the grabbed stumped, accomplished by moving the skidsteer, its arms, and QA plate. Will report on successes and failures when put to the test

It looks fantastic! I also look forward to the "test" and I hope you have great success.

I agree with RonMar... I'm not too sure how it will perform on anything larger than 3-4 inch stumps, but it will double nicely as a log grapple.
Hopefully it works well, I've got my fingers crossed.
