here is an industrial band saw: It takes 5 hp to bend that super sized band over the pulleys alone, before it even touches wood !! This would be the setup i'd need to make use of 50 PTO hp... Oh no, i'd have 40 hp because the 50 hp tractor is needed to load logs with the loader...

Renze,
We have been out of town, so I am late getting to the discussion. I am very interested in what you are able to make. We have alot of pines and oaks that go for firewood or are left to rot because no one has the ability to use them. I would love to make something like that. Do let us know what your progress is and how you go about it. Mike
