Default front weights

I'm having no luck in finding a cheap set of front suitcase-type weights. Has anyone built their own?
I'm thinking of using a surplus ammo can(filling it with lead, concrete, etc.) and bolting it on. Any thoughts, suggestions, etc.?
Thanks!!

Tony,

If you do a search for "front weights", you'll find all kinds of suggestions and ideas. Just go to the Search function at the top of the page, click on it, and then type "Front Weights" in the area that says Words To Search For.

Golfgar4,
Thanks! I should've given that a shot before posting my question!
Thanks to you too, Wichiwichi; I'll try your suggestion!

I got an old die section from a local factory and had it cut into 1 foot square sections at about 3" thick. Welded a chunk of angle iron on the top and hang them on the mounting plate of my snow blade. They weigh about 80 lbs. each. Works great.

Tony,
I added 151 lbs to the front of mine with surplus weights from an excersize machine, relatively cheap to purchase.
