| Re: 3pt Tiller I'm looking for an inexpensive 3-point (or 2-point that I can mod into a 3-point) tiller (54" or smaller, pref 48" or smaller). I'm in South Central PA, but can travel, depending on price.
Thanks,

| Re: 3pt Tiller To OP, I know this is an old thread, but I found it while researching parts info for my Yanmar 3PH tiller.
Do do this mod, or get a 3PH tiller?
If it is one of the heavy-duty gear driven Troybilts, like the Horse, or "Big Red", with 6 to 8 HP, and it is in good condition, you'd be best to sell it, and use the money to fund a 3PH tiller purchase. These tillers can bring $300-$800 used, depending on model and condition.

If you only need a tiller for a few hours a year, and you have access to a loaner, then why not just use it?
I wish I had access to a 3PH tiller. I only need one for one job.

He attached two front-tine tillers to a frame to pull behind his garden tractor. It is a nice looking setup. If you can get walk-behind tillers for next-to-nothing, this might be a good way to go.

We were talking about what I want to do and he told me if I wanted it, he would sell it to me cheap along with the finsih mower, as he is getting out of the landscaping business. So, for $300 and a chevy 400 smallblock, I am the proud owner of a Woods finish mower and a 5' KK tiller. So now I have a very nice troybult tiller for sale, and hopefuly, it will recoup my costs for the equipment.
Thanks guys.
